Hello everyone,

I’m Jaf, a jewellery designer, maker and teacher from Melbourne with a passion for creating one-of-a-kind, meaningful pieces. My designs are inspired by the whimsical and magical realms, where I draw on my own personal experiences, emotions, and deep love for intricate detail.

As a proud mum of two and a wife, my life is full of inspiration, and I channel that energy into each piece I create. My journey in jewellery design began after years of creating stunning headpieces through "Banbies," which I launched in 2016.

                                            

In 2023, I completed an Advanced Diploma in Object and Jewellery Design, which deepened my understanding of materials, techniques, and the expressive potential of jewellery. This formal training has helped me refine my skills and expand my creative boundaries.

One technique that has particularly captured my heart is lost-wax casting. This favourite technique has allowed me to bring even more depth and detail to my designs, connecting me further to the whimsical and magical worlds that inspire me.

                

Sustainability and vintage charm are at the heart of my designs, and I take great joy in breathing new life into old pieces. Rings, in particular, hold a special place in my soul, a passion that began with the ring my late father gave me as a child before he passed away.
